It’s a Garden Party!

Spring is here and it is time to celebrate with the AAUW Long Beach Branch’s Annual Garden Party. Relax and socialize with members and meet our new members. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the home of AAUW Long Beach Branch member Janice Furman.
All members are encouraged to bring a friend, colleague or neighbor, as well as any prospective member interested in partaking of this festive and joyous occasion. This annual event is planned for everyone to see the opportunities available as a member of the branch. There will be display tables that showcase the organization’s amazing programs and special interest groups. Also, a variety of light snacks, des-serts, and appetizing finger foods will be served to satisfy your cravings.
There is no reservation or cost required to attend this event. You will have the opportunity to come and enjoy a beautiful spring day with women who are committed to the goal of empowering women. We look forward to seeing you.
