October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and our speaker for our program is Alyce LaViolette. Alyce LaViolette has extensive experience working on the topic of intimate partner violence. She started one of the first programs in the country for spouse abusers and specializes in anger management, domestic violence counseling for survivors and perpetrators, gender issues, couples counseling, and a broad base of individual issues. Alyce is also the author of “It Could Happen To Anyone: Why Battered Women Stay.”
