She will speak about the impact of COVID-19 on women and girls, especially from communities of color, and the resulting economic consequences. Senator Gonzalez‘ assignment as the legislature’s chair of the Special Committee on Pandemic Emergency Response uniquely qualifies her to share her key experiences.
